Katharine A. Murphy-Brown, DMD, attended Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts, and received her dental degree in 2006. She remains a member of the American Dental Association, the Michigan Dental Association, the Oakland County Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry. In addition to her medical degree, she holds a Bachelor of Arts degree acquired at Albion College in Michigan in 2002. Over the years, she was awarded with the Eleanor J. Bushee Senior Student Award for Academic Excellence and Outstanding Leadership (2006), Top Associate for Gentle Dental of MA (2007), Associate of the Year for Gentle Dental of MA (2008),  Top Gun Dentist for Great Expressions of Michigan (2010), HOUR Top Dentist, and Best of West Bloomfield for Cosmetic Dentistry (2019). Dr. Murphy-Brown attributes her success to her parents and grandparents who instilled a strong work ethic into her life at a young age.
